Studio sessions🎙

Here are some pictures from last week's sessions in Findlandstudio, Aarhus. It was quite crazy to record on the big Bösendorfer Concert Grand 280VC. You can make this instrument sound big and resonant, but what impressed me the most was how soft you could actually play. The mechanics are flawless so that you can control the sound even with the most subtle touch.

I had two great days with my wing-man Andreas Linnemann @hop_house_studio. A great technician and very down to earth and easy-going. When you, like me, quickly get stressed, this is the man you're looking for.

I'm not sure we'll use all the material, but I'm so glad because we recorded a lot of music, even though we were on a tight schedule.

The next step is mixing, and that session is scheduled for the beginning of March. It has been a very intense period preparing for these sessions, and I found myself emotionally drained afterwards. It's nice to get some distance to the music and listen later with a fresh mindset.

Thanks to video and photo ninja Diluckshan Jeyaratnam @dluck.jr for the great pics and Stephanie Githa @stephaniegitha for beautiful photo edits🙏
