New stuff makes you happy!?
I'm sure a lot of people recognize it, the fascination of getting new gear😍
I just bought some new mic's and a sound interface, so my small piano videos will hopefully sound a lot better. That sounds reasonable, right?
But, my fascination with new gear can get quite obsessive at times. I can spend so much time checking out new stuff and thinking about it, that I can't sleep at night. So, it can be a bit unhealthy and sometimes take my focus away from the more important things.
Therefore I always have to pay attention to my desire to buy new gear, is it really what I need? or do I just crave new things? Sometimes I only know for sure after weeks of using it.
So only time will tell if the new mics and sound interface was truly necessary, but I am looking forward to sharing the results with you😊
